Pushkar “Chandan” Kumar brings a unique blend of multinational IT expertise and deep rural empathy to lead Piplad Foundation’s mission. Armed with a B.Tech from SRM University and 15+ years at global technology leaders, he chose to leave the city skylines during the pandemic and return to his ancestral village in Bihar—where he saw first-hand the barriers holding back talented youth.
A Journey Fueled by Empathy and Expertise
During his hometown visit, he began personally coaching local students in career planning and exam preparation. His one-on-one guidance quickly grew into community workshops and inspired a bold vision: lasting change must start at the grassroots.

A towering figure in Bihar’s grassroots movement, Shri Satyanarayan Singh laid the groundwork for rural transformation long before it became a policy agenda. As the revered Mukhiya of Gram Panchayat Bhelai (1968–1995), he dedicated over four decades to shaping a more equitable, educated, and empowered rural society.
His visionary leadership manifested in tangible change — schools that opened doors to learning, roads that connected the forgotten, and healthcare centers that offered dignity and healing. Twice appointed President of the 20-Point Programme Committee, he worked tirelessly to ensure government schemes reached the last mile.
Late Satyanarayan Singh’s influence stretched beyond his village, touching communities across Banka district. Today, his ideals of service, humility, and inclusive growth remain a guiding force for the Piplad Welfare Foundation.
